Below is a chart that will help you to reduce the houses edge when you are playing blackjack. To use the chart find the dealers up card in the red number in the first row. Then read down until you find your cards.
Example: you have a 4 and a 8 giving you a total of 12 and the deal is showing a 6 you would stand. If the dealer had a 8 you would hit.
Example: you have a 7 and a 7 and the dealer has a 8 you would split.
SP = Split, double your bet and play each card as a single hand
S = Stand, keep the cards you have.
H = Hit, ask for another card.
D = Double, double your bet and take only one more card.
